About the Project

Starting with a completely blank slate is one of the most daunting yet rewarding challenges! Our clients are from Central Illinois, and they purchased this city property as their home away from home. As this is their second home, we had the task to bring it to life in a way that was personal yet elevated. We went all out in the bedrooms, utilizing colors and patterns that reflected the family’s individual personalities. In the primary, we leaned into the client’s love of green and used a bold print filled with as much life and energy as the client. We had tons of fun designing tween spaces for their baseball obsessed son and nature loving daughter. In the main living spaces, we kept the colors neutral with pops of jewel tones while incorporating more fun prints and textures.

Fun Fact: We incorporated a completely custom tree bookshelf in the daughter’s bedroom, and real vintage baseball gloves for the son’s gallery wall! We love creating truly unique and personal moments for our clients.

WINDOW TREATMENTS

We love mixing patterns! Utilizing a small scale and large scale pattern in the same color palette helped create a cohesive look.

Rugs vs. carpet

When working in large spaces, broadloom carpet is a great option vs. trying to find an oversized rug.
